This page serves as a standard response to HATEFUL REVIEWS and attempts to "cancel" us.

If you have enjoyed Katie’s Ice Cream and found what we do here in Downtown Dickson a positive influence on the community, please know we are grateful for your support and we are sorry to bring negative occurrences to your attention. Sadly, from time to time, we find ourselves defending a campaign to destroy the owner’s reputation as well the reputation of the family business, Katie’s Ice Cream.

As you may know, we operate and manage our business with the philosophy and core belief that every human being is a child of God worthy of respect and dignity. If you have been here, you know when you walk through our doors you are welcomed and treated like the valued person you are. There are some saying that we have not treated everyone equally or respectfully and less importantly, saying our place of business in unclean or unhealthy. These are false claims meant to destroy our business. Why? We can’t be sure but most of the hate directed our way appears to be from those with a political or anti-religious agenda.

We have incurred and we have documented physical property damage such as the storefront window that was shot out on Mother’s Day and as such, we take social media posts that suggest we’re bigots, racists, etc. and then say *Brick through the window* VERY seriously. The damage to a business reputation and it’s customer ratings are just as destructive as the physical damage.
